Hand-dyed Wool

Shady Hill Rug Hooking is my online store. I have a good selection of beautiful hand-dyed 100% wool for all of your rug hooking, wool appliqué, penny rugs and sewing needs. My wool is hand-dyed up here on my shady hill one piece at a time to produce a quality color for primitive and fine rug hookers, as well as for the penny rug and wool appliqué enthusiast. I will be stirring the dye pot weekly to add new colors so check back often see them as they come right off the drying rack.  Thank you for taking time to look at my website.

Full yards = approx. 32" x 54"
Half-yards = approx. 32" x 27"

Quarter yard = approx. 32" x 13"  

Wool shrinks from 36" to 32" during the dye process.  The samples may vary slightly due to the dyeing process and photo or monitor.  I have done my best to show images of wool taken in natural light and describe the color to help you make the best choice for your project. Each piece is fulled and ready for use in rug hooking, appliqué or penny rugs. All my wool is dyed and stored in my smoke free, pet free, but not always lint free home.
