Hey!  It's already January 2nd!

This beautiful plant is commonly called the Firecracker plant.  Blooming right at New Years, just in time for the celebration which includes firecrackers, at least in this neighborhood I heard them all night long.  The Firecracker plant is quiet and safe, and lasts longer.
