New yarn bowls from the woodshop

Many of you know my dad is the wood worker in the family designing beautiful wood bowls.  His latest version of the yarn bowl has a lid, with a decorative pieced center.  Perfect for keeping the colorful balls of yarn from rolling around the floor when you are rug hooking or warping your loom.  The diameter of the top is approximately 6 inches.  These two hand-made bowls are going with me to the Merrie Mountain Rug Hookers hook-in in Asheville and then on to the Searsport Harvest Hook-in in Maine, if they last that long.

More hand-made items from the woodshop!  Wood bangle bracelets!  Sanded smooth to a glassy finish for shine and comfort!

I know I will be wearing one!

Isn't it fun to have lovely tools to work with the wool?
