Good to be home again

I was glad to attend the two rug hooking events in Asheville earlier this month in addition to traveling to Ohio when our first grandchild was born (4 weeks early).  However, it sure is wonderful to be home!  The seasonal colors in NC and Ohio were spendid.  Weather cooperated and I did not have to drive in any horrible rain or slippery snow.   Now back in Florida the weather is cooler, lower humidity and perfect for hooking on the porch.

My 8 value swatches for shading in hooked rugs will be listed in my online store later today.  A nice gradation and smooth solid coloration makes these easy to shade flowers and fruit.  Take a look.
