Fresh out of the dye pot this week

Hand-Dyed Roving
Hand-Dyed Roving

Delicious colors of hand-dyed roving in convenient 2 ounce braids. A few are Bluefaced Leicester sheep wool and the others are Romney/Dorsett cross sheep wool. Extremely soft, ready to use roving. Ready just in time for the upcoming events and shows.  If you are a fiber artist this is perfect for needle felting, spinning into art yarn, rug hooking, mixed media and more.

Plenty of wool is dry and ready for rug hooking or applique. I am dyeing a tremendous amount of wool for the quilt shows and hook-ins coming up and that means it has to dry somewhere.  And that means lint.  Fuzzy, colorful lint blowing around the house since it is warm and breezy enough to open doors and windows.  Think little dust bunnies growing into abominal dust bunnies!  I should get a picture.
