Pumpkin time! I have been wanting to hook a color block background. This little seasonal pumpkin was just the right size to make a useful sample. The blocks are hooked in
different sizes and shapes with similar light values. The shapes show up but don't overpower the other blocks or the pumpkin. The braided border adds a nice frame and seasonal
touch. I used some hand-dyed wool, as is textures, and a few recycled strips as well.

Hi Karen. The fall pumpkin looks amazing! I'm in Columbus with another fiber artist I'm working with. She's trying punch needle for the first time.
Have a great event in Ashville.
