Unfinished projects are piling up.

I thought I would be starting a hooked footstool top today.  Then I saw what was lingering in the corner where I hook.  A pile of unfinished, almost done rugs.  "Farmgirl" only needs a fabric for the back.  The circles piece just needs a little applique in each outside circle.  The other rugs are over half done.  I declare August "National Finish Your Projects" month.   It's time to get to work and finish these, one loop at a time.  I also have a scarf on the loom, half finished, and another scarf that needs to be gently washed and dried. 
Unfinished projects was the topic of conversation at a recent hook-in.  Several ladies confessed they have knitting patterns started, rug hooking pieces almost done, and already planning the next big idea!  

Maybe the "National Finish Your Projects" month won't catch on nationwide. I sure will enjoy the feeling of accomplishment when these are done, completely finished, not in a pile or closet,  and being useful in my home.  Pictures will be posted as the hand hooked rugs are completed.
