Three hook-ins for the month of May. . . .

May seems to be the month to plan a hook-in.   The Ocala Rug Hooking Guild #120 held a "hook-out" in the downtown square of Ocala.  Sitting under the cool shade of the trees we worked on our latest rug hooking projects.  We were visited by the local newspaper photographer who took pictures of our rugs and put one picture in the paper the next day.  We visited with local Ocala residents as well as ladies from Switzerland who were interested in what we were creating. 

The North Florida Rug Hooking Guild held a hook-in near St. Augustine on Sunday May 19th.  Three members of the Ocala Guild went and enjoyed the day visiting with old friends, exchanged ideas,  viewed the beautiful hand made creations of the North Florida Guild members, and of course ate delicious food served for lunch. Thank you for inviting us!

Tuesday was the monthly hook-in at my home and the weather was picture perfect in every way.  We had lunch on the back porch and worked on our rugs.
