Light backgrounds and blue skys were simmering in the dye pot earlier this week. When you consider a light or white background try a new color. Light beige is safe, and works but sometimes dulls the whole rug. Step outside your comfort zone and try something new to get your design to really pop. For example if you have a rosy colored motif use a dull light green.
More textured wool is in stock. These are wonderful for hooking wider strips. The weave pattern in the fabric instantly adds a texture design in your hooking. These woolens can also be used for wool applique.
