Wild on the inside.....

Wow, that's wild on the inside!  I began making a new scissor/hook case today and when I chose the lining fabric from my stash the name of the bag just came to me. Pink, black, lime green kind of hippie flowers will brighten your day when you look inside.   I used my hand-dyed wool for the outside and will attempt to insert a zipper for a secure closure.  I know, you want a picture.  Another hour I should be done, depending on the attempted zipper of course.  Then you get a picture.

An enthusiastic group of rug hookers and knitters packed into my home last Tuesday for my monthly hook in.  I was hoping for a warm day so we could spill out onto the porches, but we had a cold snap and it was kind of chilly out there.  The rugs being hooked were beautiful,  from a frosty snowman to brilliant summer poppies, a knitted vest was almost complete, and a wool applique table runner was coming to life.   It was nice to see everyone's creativity and imagination at work.
